Who cares about being able to charm a crowd with a song or woo with words…? who needs a flair for higher mathematics, physics, chemistry…? who wants to be agile or fast or physically strong … or anything when you can have the ultimate talent:

I don’t know why I’m so proud of my stupid human trick, but I am. Not many people out there can twist a maraschino cherry stem into a knot with their tongues. And fewer still can do it faster than I can! HA!

I just finished watching Zeitgeist. Still digesting. Not quite ready to post on any of that yet.
OMG SHUT UP!!!!! I seriously thought I was the ONLY person in the world who could do this!!!! My best friend worked in an ice cream parlor when we were in HS (yes 100 years ago) so I’d go in and visit her every day after school & snack on the fruit while we chatted. I tried it one day & was able to do it. The talent amazes friends and family who have all tried but just can’t get it right…
*high five for those who are skilled with their tongues*…wait, that kinda sounds dirty lol…
the worst is when it bends & creates an angle so you can’t get the loop just right…i hate that but I can still pull it off after that happens if it is long enough 🙂

I think you’re the only other person I know that can do that too — and yes, it sucks when the stem kinda breaks… but as long as it’s long enough (see, size does matter ;)) it’s still knot-worthy.
Next question: can you touch your tongue to your nose? roll it? &/or “flip” it?
because of all of the stuff i’ve been seeing here about zeitgeist lately, i googled it and watched it and i’m…..not able to say anything right now either.
