Capture your grief day 6: Ritual... Putting on my necklaces
Today’s prompt is “Ritual.” I considered skipping it because, really, I didn’t think I had any rituals having to do with my boys in heaven. I’m not very good with maintaining routines of any sort.
But the more I thought about it, I realized I did have some little things I do ritualistically with John Blaise and Alexander in mind. Some are personal prayers I say when I’m reminded of my little guys. I won’t elaborate on those here. They are hard to capture in photographs anyhow.
The one thing I do regularly that can be seen outwardly is that I always wear a particular necklace for each of them. Even when you don’t see me wearing it, chances are I still am.
